Welcome to Robotics and Control System Laboratory!
History and members: In 1982, the Robotics and Control Laboratory was established in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yeungnam University. Since 1990, 33 students took the master's degree and 5 students took the doctor's degree. Currently, 16 students (6 for Ph.D, 5 for MS degree, and 5 as research assistants) are working for their future.
Research: Recent research interests include the core technologies of mobile robot(s) (SLAM, sensor applications, and cooperation of multi-agents), automation, control, etc. The lab emphasizes creative research which is promoted through periodic lab seminars and project meetings. A number of research projects supported by companies or Korean government have been completed and some are currently in progress.
Expectation: Through what they earned in the lab (creativity, knowledge, cooperation, personality), the students are expected to contribute to the society as a competitive engineer and as a leader with integrity.
